Any time I am asked why I want to do this work, my answer is simple: I have found healing in the wild, and I want to help others find it too. The 8 years I have spent learning the plants of the Pacific Northwest have been the most transformative of my life. I entered herbalism unsure of what I would find - I felt small, unsettled and didn't really know who I was. I had devoted myself to raising my kids and somewhere in that, I lost my sense of identity.
Week after week, I kept going to wildcrafting class, and gradually I was finding myself. The plants became my teachers. The people around me gave me a sense of belonging. It was such a special time in my life, and in it, I realized exactly what I wanted to be doing: holding space for other people to have transformations of their own.
Along the way, I went to life coaching school and prepared myself to launch classes that blended herbalism, mind-body healing and intuitive development.
